Junior Website Designer / Developer
Peritus digital are looking for a new team member for the website development side of the business. We work on a large range of projects and our own in house products, and require someone who can start with minimal training required. Pay will be based on your experience. All applicants of varying skill and knowledge will be considered, we provide very good 1 on 1 training for learning skills needed to develop modern websites and web applications.
Applicant should have basic knowledge of:
- Vital: Fluent HTML5 and adhering to w3c standards
- Vital: Fluent CSS
- Live CSS editing and Chrome Dev Tools / Firebug Experience
- JavaScript/jQuery
- Basic PHP templating
- Uploading files via FTP / SFTP
- Photoshop / Illustrator
Desirable knowledge (Training will be provided if not)
- CMS installation & Configuration
- CMS plugin and module development (specifically Drupal)
- CMS theme development (specifically Drupal)
- Database management (MySql) (PhpMyAdmin)
- Knowledge of arrays, loops and variable objects
- SSH and cli access
- Server and droplet management
Pay dependent upon age and experience.
